Online College of Art and Design (OCAD)

I greatly enjoyed studying A Level Art & Design with OCAD. My tutor was extremely friendly and helpful and offered guidance and support throughout the course. I particularly liked the flexibility of being able to work around my schedule as this allowed me to study at my own pace. I highly recommend studying with OCAD.

Just finished Level 2 Art at OCD after having many health issues where at times I thought it would be impossible for me to finish, but my tutor Mrs Rees was so supportive giving me the encouragement to complete the course. The course in itself is really interesting, whether you have experience in art or are a beginner. It covers so many mediums, techniques and looks at artists, ways to get inspiration to develop your own ideas. Lessons are online and you are able to join in with comments or just watch. All lessons are recorded so you can watch in your own time or rewatch if you missed anything. Tutors are available for support, and are really helpful. I'd had bad experiences in the past so was nervous at first but my tutor, Mrs Rees, was wonderful, really helpful and understanding. She guided me, gave constructive support not criticism and her lessons were excellent and easy to follow. I would highly recommend this course. Despite health issues, I have left with an interesting portfolio of which I am proud, and interest and experience in using mediums such as pencil, charcoal, paint, pastels, clay and photography, digital media, mixed media and much more. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in creativity and who wants to study in their own time but with support.
